Student Output / Activities :

A research-based digital poster project exploring the history and prominent figures of Blues music. Students curated historical facts and biographical data to design a structured infopic/poster. The output features a comprehensive overview of the origins of Blues music—highlighting its roots among African-American communities in the southern United States, its evolution from traditional work songs and spirituals, and its massive influence on Western music genres like Jazz. Additionally, students profiled six legendary Blues icons: W.C. Handy, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Muddy Waters, Bessie Smith, and Eric Clapton, detailing their lifespans, key musical achievements, and distinct playing styles. This activity successfully enhanced students' historical appreciation of music genres, digital curation skills, and visual presentation layout techniques.
